View Full Version : Little fender bender, need opinion/suggestion

03-24-2006, 01:42 PM

Some "nice lady" at the hospital where I work decided to be a little impatient, and while backing up, ran her rear SUV bumber right into my front bumber...

Its not that bad, just the driver's side, nossle/cylinder for the headlight and covers are busted, gash at the top of the bumper, headlight lens. No real body/structural damage.

Maybe the time was right and I need to get off my busy school/work ass and prep my S4 bumper I bought locally late last year [wrench]

When the car goes into the shop, I guess it only makes sense to get the rear valance painted and get side skirts at the same time... I can spend $250 tops on sides, but the styles I like are smooth, and fairly low profile, like this one:

Creative designs $230:

TM tuning - not in my price range $500+ but I like:

Caractere would me my ideal choice, but not at $600+

Now to the questions:

- Are there any other companies with in my price range that have skirts similar to what I posted above?

- Does anyone have pictures of S4 with Infinity V1 skirts?

- Anyone seen these on A4/S4 - just can't picture them, but the price is right... http://www.tmtuning.com/HOME/catalog/product_detail.php?default_product=238#

Thanks in advance!

tmt tuning is gonna cost a lot of money because they are in europe.

did you get some cash out of it?

03-24-2006, 02:25 PM
where do you get the creative designs one?

Starting - I didnt realize that they were in EU, since everything on their web page is in the US $$...

Poopie - her side is paying average of 3 estimates I've gotten, so there should be some money to paint the sides and the rear apron...

Sean - http://creativeautoonline.com/Products/Side-Skirts/Audi/A4/1997-A4/1997-Audi-A4-Side-Skirts.html

So what else is out there?

I will be shaving off the studs from the factory lower weather strips and will replace them with thinner aftermarket pieces, so S4 skirts not out of the question, BUT: anyone installed them with out the OEM hardware? I know thats $$$, skirts are only $110 each or so...
