This is what a bad installation looks like[:o]. Not all installations are created equal[;)] This Avant windshield was replaced in Brooklyn NY by a big box store. The installer didnt use any glass primer. So the urethane didnt adhere. He actually had to use tape to keep the water from coming in from the glass to the vehicle. In fact the bead that he shot on the vehicle wasnt even uniform. The corners was gunked in heavy for some reason. Guess he couldnt get the retainer to snap in. So he tried to urethane it down [eek]. I was able to save a oem windshield from a part car that he had. As he didnt want to deal with a aftermarket again & that auto glass company. The water had also damaged his tcu [=(].It had distortion issue's also [:(]. So just beware & research on who installs your windshield. As its a structural part of your vehicle [;)]
