I’ve recently acquired a C5/A6 2.7t M/T in a trade, which the body of the a6 wasn’t in the best of condition, I still wanted it because the engine was in great running condition.

I’m wanting to know how hard it would be or if its even possible to swap the 2.7t into the 05’ B7/A4 Chassis.
I’ve pretty much got all the tools to do the job, just needing some reassurance on how to go about doing said job.

Any Tips/Suggestions on how i could do this would be much appreciated!

Depends what year your a6 is though because I believe it only works for APB engine code which is years 2000-2002.
If thats the case you would have to get a jumper harness made, which audis4parts.com can do
On a 3.2 I think the engine mostly drops in without any big changes, might need a different ac compressor, radiator and power steering line.

Or go to B7 -> chatterbox -> FTWLTBDWT thread where all the OG members hang out.... go to the last page, he has a few posts of his widebody 2.7tt

Typo on my part, i was thinking M/T and typed it. But the car is a A/T. Which I’m going to swap to a M/T and grab up a m/t harness as well.
I appreciate all the info everyone.

The year is a 2003. Which according to that 23swap.com, I’ve practically have 75% of the parts to complete the swap.
