Hey All,

Im looking to see if anyone has any first hand feedback on KW Street Comfort coilovers on the C7 platform, specifically the 1801000B’s found here (https://www.kwsuspensions.com/products/kw-suspensions/street-comfort-coilovers/kw-suspensions-kw-coilover-kit-sc-a6-c7-4g-1801000b.html).

Ive done a decent scan of all the relevant forums for information on this, but I haven't found anyone who has direct feedback on using the KW Street Comforts on the C7/C7.5 chassis. Most threads start off about these and then people jump in offering info the ST coilovers, Scale coilover’s, PSS10’s, etc

The very closest I found was this: http://dreamingin302ci.blogspot.com/2015/07/kw-street-comfort-initial-review-b8.html

He clearly had great things to say, which is a good sign, as the C7 B8.5 is at least a somewhat similar platform. Someone on here I understand has even used B8.5 coilovers on the C7, but that's another story. I also have Eurocode sway bars front and back.

My experience with my 2016 A6 w/ sports suspensions has been that the setup is overdamped in compression (especially at low speed), and underdamped in rebound. Ive always found it unacceptably bouncy when driving aggressively on the highway, whether over expansion joints or just rapid changes in elevation. The body control feels off but then again its probably tuned more for comfort than for my sort of aggressive driving.
The other day I was in the back of a new Honda Accord and we went through this area of fast up and down on the highway, that I go over often and where in my car Im practically thrown out of the seat, and it was so much better handled in the Accord. [headbang] Ive decided its time, and I'm going to pursue a suspension upgrade, looking for the most comfortable, best dampened setup I can find, while achieving a ~1 inch drop. Ive done suspension upgrades on many previous cars before (B6 Passat, MK4 GTI, etc) and have seen what a good lowered, but properly matched and damped setup can do for ride quality and handling.[wrench]

In summary, I'm looking to pull the trigger on the KW Comforts but it would be great to hear if anyone has any feedback on them one way on their A6/7 before I do! Thanks in advance for any input.

So how did you like 'em? And what settings did you settle on?
