Do you think it's worth getting a junk yard 4.2 with auto trans for a swap? My junk yard just got an s4 and I'm losing my mind over what I can pull from it.

No way of knowing if the timing chain assembly has been redone, so it's a big gamble. If so, then enjoy it! If not though... Enjoy paying 3 grand in parts alone. I'd snag the front seat recaros from it before anything imo.
