HELP w/ Installing Wireless Apple CarPlay

Looking for help on installing the Apple wireless CarPlay. I attempted this weekend on installing the module by removing the MMI / Climate Control in my 2016 S7 and could not for the life of me figure out how to completely install the unit. The other portion is hiding the unit behind the glove box as well.

Has anyone in the DC/PA/WV/VA/MD area installed this before and willing to help me install mine? I can drive to you and pay you for your time.

After reviewing a few videos it seems plug and play but i just can't grasp the procedure.

Why did you not get Apple CarPlay enabled and then just buy a wireless dongle?

It’s not that hard, you install the harness that connects to the car side and the other back to the radio. Same with the lvds cable. The. Ther is one that goes to the climate panel that does the same.

Hardest part is just tucking all the extra wires behind the radio.

I have this box in my 2012. I concur with what was said above, that since you have a facelift car, you would be wise to activate the factory CarPlay using the other procedure rather than using an add-on box. The box works best in pre-facelift cars like mine where there is no other option.
