The frame that holds the curved reflective part of the HUD in tends to rattle.. picks up resonance/vibration from the tires on bridges or certain pavement. 1000% annoying.
Anyone have a how to fix?

Adhesive felt strip. I had it done on my car when windshield was replaced, gave them lots of room to work lol.

Pop it out carefully with a trim tool and felt all the contact areas.

I used a 6" long, about 3/16" thick peice of rubber weatherstripping that i had laying around my house, stuck it in the front leading edge, between the screen and the plastic housing. Been 2 years, not a single rattle since.

Same here, got this rattle over the weekend and I used foam strips with adhesive on one side. Fit it between the top dash piece and the screen to push down on the screen side and that has fixed the issue at least for the time being.

I get the rattle at highway speed and only when the sun is shining on it. I am sure it will eventually progress to rattling all the time. Is the top cover/cap thingy as easy to remove as the diagrams? Seems like I just need to lift up the side closest to the steering wheel to pop out the clips, and then pull towards the steering wheel?
