Was heading out for weekend trip about 90 miles away and driving along at 75 MPH with cruise control on. 25 minutes in, get a CEL and car goes into limp mode. Pull over, shut down & restart. Lights went away and all seems good. Continued on and drive home few days later with no issues.

Just went IE Stage 2 DP and HX right after COVID hit and have been driving the car fairly regularly but not for anything more than short spirited drives with occasional launches here and there, all with no issues. Used to drive 700-800 miles per week.

My cheap parts store code reader showed nothing so got a buddy to read codes w/ SnapOn reader and showed the following:
194850

Codes -
6181-P310B00 - Low Fuel Pressure Regulation Fuel Pressure Outside Specification
&
6539-P133500 - Engine Torque Monitoring 2 Value Above Upper Control Limit

It would seem if there were fuel problems, they'd show up when pushing the car instead of just cruising along at 1800-200 rpm's with cruise control on, no?

There were also error codes for the ACC but the SnapOn tool was unable to access them.
2012 A7, IE Stage 2, DP, Merc HX, RS7 Airbox w/ RKX CAI. Spark plugs were also replaced with stock NGK at stock gap when St 2 was installed. Currently just over 102k miles on car.

Anyone seen or experienced anything like this?

Were you heading up an incline while on cruise control? I’d test that. Set cruise control on flat road, approaching an incline. I’m willing to bet that you will throw the EPC once you start heading up the incline.

I don't think so but can certainly check. What is the cause?

Google the Engine Torque code and there seems to be a lot of info out there. A few things point to problems with the MAF and/or a software problem.

I believe the fuel pressure code points to the tank mounted fuel pump on its way out. If that is what it is Audi was smart about it and made an access panel under the rear seat cushion for easy access.

Will check this out and thanks for the info!

Curious...Why ?

I had that issue when I was with IE about a year ago and had heard of the same issue with one other person. I have since moved on though.
