So I picked up my current b7 about a year and half ago. She’s a 6spd, black on black. 222k miles and counting.
I’ve done basic maintenance and finally have been able to start on some mods.

- red top coil packs
- spulen tip
- solowerks coilovers
- 19’ x 9 a8 wheels
- apr 4” tips with muffler deletes

I’m going to use this thread for updates and to note the build as it goes.

I do have to replace injectors for a misfire.
And I have an RAI 3” dp with hfc to be installed eventually.

Grabbed a set of 19x9’s to replace the current wheels.

Stretch should be pretty decent.

The wheels in your top photos (original post) look so much nicer than those uninteresting bulky looking 19 inchers in the second post. Do you really want the 19 inch wheels. 18s will give you a better ride, quieter, better wheel protection, usually lighter (lower unsprung weight), better mileage (usually), and less expensive replacement tires. I realize it's a subjective/personal perspective so more power to you.

I disagree, I think the RS6 wheels are better looking than the ones in his pictures. /opinion

Also as far as 19s? they can work with a modest drop. At stock height, 19s look silly.

So I will say these are in no way the final wheels or fitment I’m shooting for.
Unfortunately there is a crack in a barrel and holding air isn’t working without a legit repair.
The current ones on the car are 19’s . So swapping the tires to the rs6 wheels are the easy move.

I agree on all points with the way 18’s will change the ride in positive ways , but maybe on my next set when I finally get exactly as I want!

Luckily the coils have plenty to make the fitment work.

I appreciate the opinion, I also like these better.

Im also an OEM + kinda guy over knock offs wheels where I can.

Right - so there is method to you madness. Your initial post made it sound like you were going to 19 inchers (so I incorrectly assumed you were at 18). Certainly understand modifying it the way you want it, and can't disagree with Charles that 19s look significantly better with a lowered chassis which it sounds like you also have in mind.
