My buddy (911 owner) is trying to get me to join him for a performance driving course. I was game until I found out you use your own car, immediately calculating the cost of "brakes, tires, shocks, potential premature wear out of other components, etc."

Then it occurred to me, "how might this impact my warranty". I'd stay within redline of course, but curious .. what details of how you drive a 2018 S7 can Audi see based on the system monitoring?

Would I put my warranty at risk?

Alternative would be to get a rental car of some sort .. of course, the fastest car on the planet.

"what track?!" Is my response [emoji6] lol

Warranty is a warranty, pretty sure you drove that thing to the grocery store and back home religiously.

No I idea about dealership... but when my Audi guy hooked it up he was giggling about me over revving mine. I don’t drive like a maniac or anything I just drive it like an S6 is supposed to be driven.

An S7 is a heavy car so it will be much rougher on consumables on a track. Hence the reason many people get a cheap Miata for a track car. 911s are great on track, S7 not as much.

Take it to the track, drive the heck out of it and see what it’s really capable of. You’ll put some hard miles and the pads, tires and maybe rotors, but it best the car collecting dust in the garage!!
