2003 audi s8 171k

Hello all, I have a 2003 audi s8 4.2 for sale. There is definitely a cool and intensive story behind this car, and all of us definitely love stories! I bought this car with someone some time ago. That person had taken the car from my possession signed the titled and gone on to enjoy it despite me. A while ago he found himself in a pinch and i found myself handing him money for it once again. I since reconditioned many of things on this vehicle.
Since I bought it I have replaced the
-front pads and rotors,
-serpentine belt,
-front xenon bulbs,
-hastings air filter,
-vaico wiper blades,
-and much more.

What could be redone...
-crack in windshield happened less than a week ago,
-front fender has a hand length dent (replacement fender comes with),
-fog light grilles are missing.
-engine light light is on for a single misfire.
-theres a few Scratches and dings, but overall very nice.

If theres no takers at this price, I will go through every issue, and sell for 6500.

As of right now price is set at 5500,
Trades with cash are an option. Lmk what you have!

Nice car. I would have the insurance replace the glass with OEM glass. It's usually a no deductible

For those of you who dont know, 100 of these cars were sent to america between 1997-2003. This car was about $115k new in todays money. And some of the features this awesome car has show that. I really would love to keep this but the ball and chain wont allow it. Unfortunately someone else will get to enjoy it.

D2 was produced from 96-03. The link posted above even said 100 Avus silver/burgundy combos were sold in 03. Not sure how the OPs numbers are off. Great looking car. GLWS.

I wasnt exactly sure, because I had gotten the exact info a long time ago but I guess it may have altered in my mind in the recent past, but i knew it was 100 of the avus silver combo

Well this ad is for a S8 and the OP states 100 of these cars were sent to America between 1997 - 2003 which could be confusing to people that are not that familiar with these cars and might think its a total of only 100 S8 sold between 1997-2003. I think it would be clearer if stated that 100 of this color combo were available for the 2003 model year.

I think it would be clearer if stated that 100 of this color combo were available for the 2003 model year.I can see how that could be misconstrued, I guess a little common sense would think the OP was referring specifically to D2 S8 silver/burgundy vehicles sense that is what the ad was for. But common sense isn't always common.

I think he was referring to the Avus/Burgandy color combo as well as the Ming Blue/Platinum. Both about 100 imported of the original 2001-2003 yrs

Still available? Also valve cover gasket and or timing chain/belt replaced? any other leaks or codes? If buyer pays for Audi dealer inspection would you be able to accommodate the time to have this inspection? I am in Atlanta - FYI. I have had 2 S6 wagons, 1 S8, 1 RS6 so very familiar with these models. Great car which is why I am possibly considering another one. Thanks in advance.
