yeah, yeah. ery'body's got somethin' to say. BTW that's why it says asking, which means I am without a doubt open to offers. Recent comparable avant sold at auction for 18.5k soooo IMHO in the ballpark given the service and noted history.

Can confirm that photos are showing up now. Beautiful Avant, by the way! Nogaro has to be one of the greatest colors ever applied to a car. It's so striking!

Ignore the criticism regarding the price. It's difficult for people to grasp the idea of some B5 S4's going for $1200 and others simultaneously going for over $20k, so it leads to a lot of spirited debate over the true value of these cars.
My opinion is that the market is exactly where it makes sense for it to be right now: beaten-up examples with missing or broken parts, and deferred maintenance should be available for next to nothing, due to the huge expense and amount of work involved with getting it right again; meanwhile, a truly clean example that has been properly cared for has certain qualities and characteristics to offer that any newer A4 or S4 simply can't match, so it makes sense to me for a true survivor example of a B5 to command more money than a newer car due to there being some demand with limited supply. This is especially true for any clean Avant, and particularly so if it happens to have what is arguably the most desirable color and option package Audi offers. Someone out there has been dreaming of owning a clean, B5 S4 Nogaro Avant, and they will be willing to pay in the realm of your asking price for the privilege to get their hands on one of the last such examples out there.

Very fair asking price. I would even say it is a reasonable buying price at what he is asking. People who complain about prices are just really bottom feeders looking for the cheapest possible thing, so the price shocks them. They end up with a silver on black ragged out car with tons of deferred repairs because they cannot understand the value of a properly documented and respected car that needs almost nothing. The bottom line is that you never see this combo for sale so op can ask what he wants. Someone will will eventually pay and it already seems very fair

New photos after a light buff and polish. Yes, those original photos were before I throughly cleaned inside and out, top and bott-- ok I did not clean the bottom. Bottom of the hood: yes. Bottom of the car: no. It travels at a high rate of speed mere inches from the filthy road after all.
