I've been replacing my rear axle lower control arm (the black straight one) which unbeknown to me has become a complete PITA.
I removed the subframe bolts on each side fully to lower the frame a bit to assist in removing the bolts for the control arms, but like a dummy I dropped both sides of the subframe without using a jack to support and didn't keep any part of the subframe bolts in.
After finally getting the control arm bolts out and replacing the arms, I'm now having issues in aligning the subframe mounts properly on both sides in order to bolt them back up. Been trying to manoeuvre the jack around to shift the subframe when jacking back up, but can't get it to move enough.
Anyone know what the best way is to get the mounts aligned enough to be able to bolt the thing back up, working by yourself? I've read that ratchet straps can get it done but not having much luck, potentially may not be using it correctly.
