Anyone know if it's possible to disable the "Bulb-Out" warning on the center instrument panel with VAG Com?

2008 A4 Avant, 2.0T

Yes.. but you lose everytbing practically on the panel..
I did it on my sons car as he was running licence plate led lights and he did not have resistors

Yes, Change instrument coding from Highline w/DIS to without DIS with VCDS or OBD11 (can't find any screen shots so i'm guessing here)

You lose the mpg and average functions but still show distance to empty. No codes from my LED license plate bulbs.

What else is lost?
Do you know what section the code would be?

That's great and very helpful info. Thank you.
Been battling erratic taillight bulb-out warnings for years. Replaced wiring, replaced bulb holders, drilled out and replaced mounting bolts. Sick of it.

Thanks. I may look into the wiring issue at some point in the future. For now I just want to be able to control my ipod through the radio. Silly I know.
