View Full Version : Requesting feedback on Chemical Guys HydroSuds Ceramic Wash
Has anyone used this silica infused car wash soap on a ceramic coating (no film, just XPEL Fusion Plus on paint)? I am interested in trying it but wanted to see how you like it. I would ask my detailer or XPEL but I am sure they would say use an XPEL branded wash or aftercare product. Maybe you think that as well... Any feedback appreciated. Thanks.

Hello SIQ5
Following...
I purchased chemical guys “Hydro Suds ceramic car wash soap Silica-infused formula slick hyper surfactants. CWS21216. I haven’t used it yet. I am needing to buy a pressure washer first.
I currently take my SQ5 to a touch-less car wash. I recently had my ceramic coated. Looks great. I look forward to using the product at home.

Cool, let me know how it goes. Between pressure washer and a foamer that connects directly to a hose (no pressure washer needed), I find the foamer on hose works better. I bought this one https://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guys-ACC_326-Ultimate-Connects/dp/B00F5MCL14/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=chemical+guys+cannon&qid=1595013464&sr=8-6 They have more expensive foamers that may work better, but I like this one a lot. I would probably buy a combo pack with more of their tools and products if I had to go back, I kind of pieced it together and paid more in the end.

I haven't used "Hydro Suds" but I used Chemical Guys "Carbon Flex Vitalize Shampoo" on my A7. A7 is coated with Gtechniq and EXO top layer. I use the foam cannon along with a gas pressure washer. To be honest, I can't tell any difference between " Carbon Flex", Gtechniq GWash or "Honey Dew" which is what I am currently using. I use about 3x the amount of soap required just because I like to see the thick foam. I foam the car two times as well.j Not sure what your looking for in a soap/shampoo but hope this helps.
I am not familiar with those products buy I will do some research. I am looking for feedback on the HydroSuds product but I appreciate your input.

Jax Wax ceramic shampoo isma much better product. Buy from their site and get a gallon size and I believe free shipping. Add their wheel cleaner too which works as goodmas IronX, but it smells good. Ceramic detsiler is also good and protects for 6 months.
