how can I calculated the crank hp on quattro ?

all that power in a fwd would not be a good idea. great numbers especially for quattro, i wonder what i would make on that since im fwd

If you calculate the driveline loss at 22%, divide your WHP number by 0.78. So you're making about 372bhp.

Some say the driveline loss is 25%, not sure on either one.

It worked fine for me

Worked for me too. So this was on your 110 and 94 mix at 23 psi right? Nice numbers, now I want to get some dyno time to see what I could do.

Dynapak typically has a 25% DT loss on the B6 quattro, this dyno can read different though.

This gives you about 387CHP.

Here is my 71R on the Mustang dyno, 100 octane, 22psi (http://dthaus.com/pics/dyno1%20001.JPG)

Yup, It has 350whp in it easily...I will drop the hammer at my next dyno session.

^^^^was it done like that?

nice numebrs man, usually in the past when i saw dynos i would say i cant wait to go BT...but now i have one.

arif, i dont understand how you are on your stock clutch because now my stg 3 slips if i floor it while im already driving, not just when i try to launch. makes me wonder what it must be like on stock clutch.

yeah it is little bit 110(2gals) little bit 94(5gals) and little bit of 93(5gals).

I drove all day before the dyno so when I went to dyno I was almost out of fuel.

I already ordered Stage 4 clutch just waiting to recieve it. I'll prob get it installed next weekend.

which one did you order? hd ofe? i gotta get mine soon. anyways, i wonder what these put out on regular pump gas. when i dyno thats what ill do it on.

Great WHP, but I really wonder about the torque being so low in comparison.

Does your car feel laggy? Also as the guys said, was this 23 psi with the octane mix?

Sorry, I see the boost chart goes up to 23.

It seems a little rich from 4500 to 5500. I guess just like mike said, we don't have the timing in the programming to burn up that extra fuel or whatever the case maybe.

Damn 290WHP and 2-piece headlights ahha Nice numbers I gotta quit reading this stuff it makes me want to go BT, congrats

lets say one was inclinded to take out his k04(not saying i am)
and get this combo(not saying i will)
where would one find the software for sale?

ive got about 6 months of saving before my wedding, and then, . . . i may have a turbo in my future

i love tuning on dynapacks, so quiet you can hear everything. I would probably use 20% as a ballpark drivetrain loss for the dynapacks. They run pretty close to the small dynojets.

Quick glance, looks like you need more turbine and your torque curve is garbage due to your a/f ratio. Ignition timing could be tweaked a bit as you correct the ratio. Boost control looks decent, probably just the turbine running out of breath up top. For that octane, the ratio is even farther off. Try a 93 baseline so you can get your file revision. That should get you pretty close.

offroader, you can get the software from unitronics or rennart(they sell unitronics software). its spendy, but its some good stuff. on pump the number are probably closer to 270whp.

I agree, he is running too much octane for the chip he is running which is causing the car to run very rich which will cause a loss of power vs if he just ran straight pump gas. If the car is still running a bit rich at that point he might look into lowering the fuel pressure a little if his fuel trim is ok.

not bad arif! we'll be working on our own b5 a4 (mine) over the next couple weeks (swapping to this kit this from the 28rs currently in the car) and we're hoping to get a racegas file made for people who want it.

Is that eliminator turbo really that laggy? I would think you would hit full boost way before 4700 RPM? I know that in Goldenrocket's car, his .86 A/R 3071R hits full boost around 4700 RPM. Looking at APR's dyno of their TT225 kit, their car makes it's peak tq before 4700 RPM as well and it has a lower CR motor then we do. I didn't think the difference in boost response in the GT28RS and GT2871R would be more than 1000 RPM since the GT28R and GT28RS are so similar. Good numbers, and as Mike pointed out, there is plenty of room for improvement with a better fuel curve.

He has the borla exhaust which is 2.25" I think.
