Hi! I’ve got an B8,5 Avant with some problems with the brakes. The front passenger side brake is sticking, and judging by the brake pads I replaced a month ago it has been sticking for quite som time. What made me realise that the brakes were sticking was that it stuck on really bad when it was hot. Now that it is 10°C it sticks in a little bit, but not much, but when it was 25-30°C it stuck on a lot worse, and the brakes were smoking after a little drive. After this I replaced the caliper, but the brakes are still sticking. It has never pulled to the right even though the brakes are sticking, but under hard braking it tends to pull to the left instead. Abs can also kick in under semi heavy braking, but not every time. Another weird thing is that under normal driving I sometimes get the sound and feel in the gas pedal as if the esp kicks in, this happends under normal driving on dry asphalt at 70-80 Km/h. I also get the same sound and feel every time I start the car and start driving. No fault codes whatsoever. Could it be as simple as an abs sensor? Bern thinking of unplugging one sensor to deactivate the whole system just to check if the brakes still sticks. Oh, and lastly, it sometimes feels like the brakes just come on periodicly, as if the esp kicks in to correct me. This also happends on both dry asphalt and snow, making the car to go back and forth. Has anyone got any experience on this?
Thanks!
