The 8P is a dying car. I came from a K04 B8 A4 which was beautiful. It’s so hard to find inspiration and guidance on this platform so I am going to start.

I’m already into the build and will have to catch up on some stuff but I decided to try the Q3 climate control mod since it’s “impossible to have work on pre-facelift”. Well here it is not fully installed and everything works. I love the look

Is this a 2.0 or a 3.2? I've got a 2008 3.2...interested in the Q3 climate control mod. I read coding is needed...AC works? Everything works?

It’s a 2.0. Granted that should factor in. I haven’t coded anything and it all works just fine. Not sure if that’s because of the part # or for or what

Have some updates!
Turbo Muffler Delete; I didn’t get after pictures but I enjoy having it. Instead of paying $400 for powder coating or dropping it all for a BBK I did my calipers in red. Cost me $32 and totally worth it. Also did the stronic shifter. Was super easy. I did it in the B8 A4. I recommend for everyone. I also crate shipped the suede interior and swapped that this week. They didn’t come heated which made me mad. Curious about swapping the heating element from my old seats to the new ones? Also facelift tail lights. I went hard in the last week or two

I found a good deal but it wasn’t free. I had the have that interior. Deciding what mods to do next

I got it from a junkyard car but you can find them new for about $110 on eBay as a genuine part. Super easy to swap

I think you can do this on 08 and above. Here's a thread about it on audi-sport (https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/q3-climate-control-8p-retrofit.233247/). Looks like it's needs to be the Q3 climate control. red4life5, have you been able to check for any errors or codes using vcds or a different tool? Which P/N did you use?

My car is a 2.0 but your engine size isn’t related to HVAC. I have checked for errors and there are some but not like I care. It was plug and play and works great.

Sorry it’s been awhile guys! Got a sport bike for the summer and that became my main focus!

Besides the memes I had the car overheat on the freeway. After replacing the thermostat and it still not fixing it... I took it to the Audi god here in Utah and after a primary fan & radiator replacement it works great!

Tune update:
Looks like I lose 60 miles on a tank with stage I. Definitely a little because of how I drive. Our cars mpg drags down significantly when going 100+ [emoji16] too much wheel hop is the other reason. I need new motor mounts. But I’m turning 220,000 miles so I’m sure they’ve been dead for awhile! Here’s a pic of the bike

How is it possible? Tried the newer units (from the facelift) works until you press any button, the vent flaps get stuck and no air enters in the cabin, will check the part number..

As today, can you confirm that's working fine??
