Did Nanolex Wheel Cleaner Ruin My Calipers?

Just used this product for the first time and it seems to have worked well on the wheels, but after I finished washing my car I noticed the calipers are gray. Are S7 calipers gray and mine were just that dirty or did it just ruin my paint? Only had it on for maybe two minutes before I started scrubbing the wheels and hosing it down.
