As the U.S. sees a historic rise of the unemployment rate, the Food Banks of Texas are being utilized by Texas families at levels never seen before - and we are calling on our members and fellow Audi owners to help.
Just last week, the San Antionio Food Bank served nearly 10,000 families on a single day. The Houston Food Bank, which is the largest in the nation, has increased their average daily distribution from 480,000lbs to 800,000lbs, and the North Texas Food Bank has ramped up their teams by deploying 250 members of the National Guard to oversee an increase of productivity with a goal of fulfilling 60,000 family meal boxes a week. All of these wonderful feats of humanitarian aid would not be possible without the generous donations made by those able to give.
