Bout time for an upgrade and looking to rid of my B8 I’ve had for over 4 years. I bought the car with 90k on it and it has 128k on it now. When I got it, dsg was acting up bad. After I did fluid filter change it was 10000x better. It’s about time for another service as it’s not as smooth on take offs as it has been. I’ve daily driven this car to work and have never had issues. No check engine lights at all. Oil always done at dealer and last year did plugs, coil packs, and valve cover gaskets. Car is still fast, no clutch slipping at all.
Anyone looking for a cheap beater or parts car? Trade in is about 7k and have got offers in that range 7300 was highest. Would let go for 8k if somebody wants one that would need a little tlc to be a nice ride. I am not driving it now due to working from home.

The good
-only one little tear in driver seat, rest of seats are amazing
-paint still in good shape, no rust. Did a clay and polish year ago and still looks good
-brakes still good. Aftermarket from ecs. New rotors and pads. Although driver front has a little shake to it on heavy braking.
-engine runs like a champ
-Sport Diff
-B&O system
-Tires got another year on them. AS3+
-never had any check engine lights
-interior still pretty dang clean
-has intake so whine is nice, comes with original intake too

The needed
-it needs a dsg service. Bout 35k since last one
-front rotor needs addressed cause of little braking wobble
-recently serviced at dealer and smelling little coolant when thrashing -no leaks though and dealer said typical places where leak would be seems dry. No coolant in oil so PVC issue? Price factored in with replacing that. If no bites in next month I’ll just have this taken care of but price will go up.
-seat bolster tear, also on door armrest

Like I said, it needs some TLC to it so would be a mechanics special.

First 8k takes it.

I don’t know how to upload pics on here so I’ll try and upload them to my personal photos page so you can go see. Hope that works.

Any questions let me know.

Drop me photos and I can upload them, or send a guide how to do it - imgur should help. Pretty great price for and S4, I recently seen a couple in the same price range - also b8s, but with around 180k miles. So that's a great deal for anyone here.
Ever did timing chain service?

timing chain not done, and it doesnt do more than a second of rattle at start so never had issue with it.

I have lots of pics and video even of the launch but its been years since ive used a hosting site. Im 40 and all my tech knowledge is gone haha
I can send pics and video through i-message or fb messenger if needed.

The coolant issue sucks recently cause its my first real trouble spot with the car. Even though i had dsg issues early on, the fluid change fixed it all. I may have it taken to dealer and hopefully its just one of the hoses and not PVC but im guessing from what others said, thats the issue. again the car is in good shape, just needs some TLC from somebody that has the knowhow. If i had the time, patience, and tech knowledge, id be doing myself and keeping the car for a daily. Its been a solid daily for over 4 years, never leaving me stranded.
