Lucas from Melbourne Australia has been busy with his A4 set up.

He is running a variation of the GT35R.
Engine is able to rev to 9000rpm.

So far he managed 608Hp @7000rpm and 491Ft/lbs.
He had to stop at 7000rpm because his injectors maxed out.

Below was taken from VW Vortex

This is a quick copy of Data print out.
we had to stop run at 7000 rpm, injects went to 100% duty cycle.

Time for bigger injectors.

RPM Ft/LBs HP MAP
3500 232.5 154.9 7.1
4000 245.4 186.9 8.2
4500 338.8 290.3 13.5
5000 446.7 433.7 22.1
5500 456.7 495.6 22.4
6000 468.4 526.5 23.2
6500 429.2 523.1 22.2
7000 491.4 608.1 23.3 Injectors hit 16ms

These were 750cc siemens injectors at 80%
They were already maxxed out at 6500rpm, we then just turned up fiel pressure to get extra 500 rpm.

However 1000cc are ordered, they should hopefully do the trick.
I have finnished on engine dyno for now, i have to get finnished another engine with a similar setup.

EGT on each Cylinder steady at 1480def F.

LOL, that 232 tq at the crank would be about 181 at the wheels on a dynojet or 151 at the wheels on the Dynamic dyno they tend to use down there. Does it sound like much now?

that is lucas_G_chips he is pretty notorious in the performance forum on audiworld. had a pretty quick 1.8 motor with custom giac tuning before he went nuts on this one and standalone. i believe he ran a 12.1 down there... not sure what that would equate to up here. and mike there is no need speculate.

Speculate? Just saying what it would most likely put down on a dyno if the drive line loss is what we would expect for a type of dyno. You do understand that I talk to lucas all the time on AIM and I have known what he has been doing pretty as he has been doing it.

Still, from a chipped k03, 230ctq at 3500rpm doesn't sound so bad.

What I was getting at is that lag wouldn't be so bad.

wow thats a lotta torque and at a very high rpm. impressive that both power and torque are still going up at 7k.

mike any speculation why its making so much more torque than your setup. how similar are the turbo's? lag seems to be much less compared to your setup.

Yeah the 750cc injectors baxed out at 7000rpm.

He's installing 1000cc injectors soon. they engine is good up to 9000rpm

where do you think his peak hp will end up at? Highest I have ever seen from an A4 is still below 8k.

how do you get it is making more then my setup? Remember his is on a engine dyno giving readings at the crank while mine are at the wheels. You really cant even compare the 2 since they were measured completely different.

We are both running a GT35r which seems to be the turbo most people are running now. Plenty of info was left out of his post, like what type of fuel and how much boost.

close to what? Your S4 or your A4 setup which I had off my car before you even took off your K03? When has your car put down 434whp? Oh wait that would be NEVER [:p]

BTW how much did you pay for your used PES kit? I bet I paid less for mine brand new directly from PES.[:D]

LOL, that car is actually fun to drive since it has TRD parts on it. I only drive that car if I need or if the audi is in the shop.

i have a close friend who is running a GT35R in his 2005 WRX that is custom tuned and has 342whp and its slow up until about 4k rpm and then knocks you back to the headrest and wont let go all the way through 7500 rpms. But its a different application so i may be spitting out unapplicable information.
