Hi guys,

So I have a pre-fl Audi S3 that I just took in for the 45k mile service. The 45k service is minor and includes changing the oil and brake fluid. So a few days after having this service done I was parked with my foot on the brake when suddenly i felt it give and drop to the floor. I pumped the brake to try and get back pressure and it did temporarily. After not knowing what was happening I got out of my car and saw brake fluid leaking outside of the front right tire.

I was out and about for this and had to get emergency brake fluid to get me home. I had no issues until the 45k service. I did the service near my school under Audi care. I never used this dealer before but they seemed to be reputable.

I am currently theorizing that they did not tighten the bleeder valve on the caliper and as such it's leaking out. I will note that during this service they let me know my right front abs harness was damaged. I am not sure if this is related. I was planning on getting this fixed after they told me.

I'm just stressing out because the brake fluid splattered on my door as I drove home and is on the wheel. I tried my best to wipe down with water and clean cloths the side of the car. I saw little orange marks on the white paint that looked like rust and began to freak out. I was able to rub these marks off with my fingernail so I worried a little less but it was cold out and I couldn't get them all nor could I use my hose and car wash detergent to wash the side. I could go to a car wash but the brake fluid would still be leaking and getting on the car after getting cleaned.

If anyone could chime in with possible culprits for the leak and my best course of action going forward I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you so much!
