Audi RS4 (Suzuka Gray Preferred)

Hello AZ Members:

I am looking to purchase a Suzuka Gray Audi RS4; bonus if it is a lower mileage example with TI Package.

My budget is between $25K and $33K, but I can have some additional flexibility for the perfect car.

I am located in San Francisco, but I am open to travelling for the right car.

I am hoping someone on this forum has a beat on one of these rare beauties.

PS Ibis, Sprint Blue, and Daytona Gray are my back-up choices so let me know if you have a low mileage example with TI Package as I may be open to the right car in these three colors.

The "perfect car" will fetch you north of 40k

Recent examples in 2020 - Ibis White 30k miles sold 45k on BAT / Sprint Blue 17k miles sold 43k on BAT **neither had Ti package

FYI, there are only 8 suzuka gray RS4s in the US. 4 each 2007 and 2008. I think only 2 of them are Ti. With your budget, a clean Daytona Gray seems like the best option and easiest find.

I am aware of the BAT auctions and that there are 8 Suzuka Grays.

The RS4 can have 60-80K miles; it does not have to be 30K miles or less.

I got in touch with @alwaysaudi this past weekend. In fact, it was his car that motivated me to post my thread. His car looks absolutely amazing!

I’m feeling nostalgic for Suzuka Gray; I had a Suzuka/Exclusive B8 S4 with Titanium Package. I really love that color!

@R8TDRRR . . . I’m open to exploring what’s out there. If it’s too ambitious for my taste, I can always say no. You mentioned a few, what about the other ones?

@my_RS4 . . . Thank you . . . I’m going to definitely exercise that virtue. I have a few other cars to keep myself occupied, but the RS4 WANT is REAL.

Just for note, given your budget the mileage you will be looking at is North of 90k miles. I know of a 66k mile one but it would be into the $4x,xxx's range (not technically for sale). One with 50k that was recently bought so not on the market. One in VT with low low miles again $4x,xxx (not technically for sale). One in NJ (I think) with a new motor so probably not selling.

So we are down to 4 examples left for your hunt.

Good Luck! Could always buy another color and wrap it.

Edit: anything with under 60k miles is likely to be over $33k esp one with the Ti package.

And yea Suzuka owners won’t sell unless it’s worth their while. It’s gonna be so hard to find and persuade.
