2010 Meteor Gray S4 6-Speed Clutch/Flywheel Recently Done

Hello all,

Up for sale is my 2010 Meteor Gray S4. I have owned this car since March 2018 (69k miles). It truly has been a great daily driver however I am getting the itch to switch it up a bit. I have not posted the car on any other websites (cars.com, cargurus, craigslist, etc). I am in no rush to sell but figured that I would put it here for my Audizine brethren to see if there is any interest.

As I post this, the car currently sits at 100,448 miles.

My asking price is $15,900. Where did I get my asking price you may ask? As we know, there is no doubt that the supply of manual B8/.5's is quite low compared to the number of DSG cars produced from 2010-2016. Within the past 11k miles I had a brand new clutch and flywheel put in (receipt attached at the bottom). The car currently has an APR stage 2 set up with a 196.5mm XLR8 crank pulley, CTS intake, and MercRacing heat exchanger. Even though I know mods don't necessarily increase value, I believe to the right buyer this is quite a package with regards to power vs reliability for a daily driver.


Cliff notes

The Good:
-Recent clutch/flywheel
-APR stage 2 with supporting mods
-Two sets of tires (snow currently on and all season). However unsure of exact tread depth of all seasons.
-If my memory serves me correctly, I am only the 3rd owner which is not bad at all for a 10 year old car.
-Clean CARFAX

The bad:
-Aesthetically I would put this car around the 6.5-7/10 range.
-The drivers side front bumper has an imperfection. Looks as though previous owner might have pulled a bit too far forward while parking...[headbang] (picture attached)
-There is a very small ding on the driver side passenger door (picture attached)
-It appears that the previous owner also went through some car washes that were not touchless... There are some scratches/paint imperfections on the roof of the car (pictures will be attached when the weather lifts). Not a pro detailer myself so the extent of the paint damage is unknown to me. Could be a heavy duty detail fix or could be more.
-Some of the wheels have some curb damage (will attach pictures when the weather lifts).

$8k between mods and maintenance in the past 24 months... YEEEEEHAAAAAWWWW [:D]

Will more than likely drive this thing into the ground and hold on to it for what it is, the best daily for the money. That is unless I find someone who truly values it. You folks have been rather quiet on here. Thoughts?

I just think the market dried up on them. I’ve been trying to sell my 2011 prestige with 66k miles for 16,000 for about a month now and barley had any bites. Good luck with your sale as it seems like a good deal for somebody wanting a manual.

We know the supply is low however have I overestimated the demand? Quite possibly. Hell these cars, in manual configuration with a stage 2 set up, are an absolute blast to drive. I just miss the character of the a high strung N/A V8.

My thoughts are how many sedans offer you the driving enjoyment of a 6 speed manual, 116mph quartermile power, AWD practicality to go out to dinner with your wife in a blizzard, and an interior with German quality fit and finish? Oh and did I mention, all for sub $16k. Really the only other car I can think of would be an e90 335xi but I don’t know a ton about the N54 community so not even sure all of that is true (particularly the performance with just simple bolt ons).

I figured that I would share a recent comp to get a better understanding of what the current market is doing. With buyer fees this went for north of $16k. Yes lower miles but no documented maintainance and/or go fast goodies (to the right buyer that's worth something).
