20x8.5 45mm offset (4G0601025BE) Will these wheels fit a MY14 S7?

Picking up a MY14 S7 with factory 20x9 37mm offset double spoke wheels (4G8601025AC - #1 in the diagram) for summer. I have an extra set of factory 20x8.5 45mm A6 wheels (4G0601025BE - #1 in the diagram) that I want to use with A/S in winter.

Does anyone have any idea if the A6 wheels/offset will fit over the larger S7 caliper, also have clearance for the face of the wheel?

I would expect you’ll need to run a spacer of some sort to get the offset back to what the S7 will want

I do believe you are spot on. Not sure where my brain fart came from, but it makes complete sense that is what I would need to do
