So I dropped my car down 1.5in on Vogtland springs, but when I got it all buttoned back up neither my traction control, or anti-lock brakes are working. I had pinch bolt difficulties (of course) and wound up taking off the front caliper/rotor/lower control arms on one side to drill out the snapped bolt. Everything (seemingly) went back together ok, but now my ABS, and traction control warning light are on, and the systems are non-functional. Any ideas about what I screwed up, and a course of corrective action would be greatly appreciated. ~thanks
Scan it with VCDS, but I expect you pulled the wire too tight and damaged it. VCDS will tell you which one is broken.

Yeah that makes sense. I had a bungee cord around the caliper, but I'd be a liar if I said it stayed secure the whole time. Much thrashing around, and gnashing of teeth ensued on that side as I experimented, and used the lessons learned on the other side. Learned everything I never wanted to know about pinch bolts along the way. I'll do as you say, and post the results for future fumblers. ~thanks
I would also check the ABS sensor itself. I've had a few that had rust dust on them after pulling control arms and they acted like they were bad. Pull and clean, you might get lucky.

Have you tried cleaning or replacing the brake switch?
