So this is my second time posting, i have a leak i believe is coming from my thermostat. My question is is there anything that can leak in that area besides the housing ? It seems like it only leaks after i drive the car and let it sit and it starts to cool down. I know its not the two hoses that connect to the housing or the middle metal tube. so everything points to it but i am not sure. I would like some input to figure out if it is.
two pics are from under two from the thermostat and two of the area further down from the thermostat towards the bottom

p.s. i don't know why the pictures are upside down

At one time I thought my thermostat was leaking and it turned out to be the coolant flange.....how the heck the leak from back there thought the path of least resistance was in that direction is a mystery to me. I was a slow leak and as it got worse the source became evident.

Check your coolant flange to see if there is any coolant there.....if not at least you rule that out.
