Hello,

I noticed eibach currently has a sale on their V6 Springs, linked here:
https://eibach.com/us/i-1930-pro-kit-performance-springs-set-of-4-springs.html

This is compared to the proper 2.0T Springs, linked here:
https://eibach.com/us/i-1895-pro-kit-performance-springs-set-of-4-springs.html

More than double the price it seems for the 4-cyliner (2.0T) Springs compared to the 6-cylinder (3.2) Springs.. I looked it up and I believe the difference in weight between the 3.2 and 2.0T is around ~170lbs. Also, I feel like I've read a few people using V6 (3.2) Springs on the 4-cylinder 2.0T previously. I just wanted to see if anyone out there has any feedback on this idea, and if it is something I should move forward with?

Also, to be clear, I'm going to match the Springs with the "Correct" Shocks/Struts for the 2.0T, just the springs potentially would be the Eibach Pro-Kit for the 3.2 V6 motor. Most likely Koni FSDs to pair with these springs.

TIA.

the problem is that the “correct” shocks/struts are “correct” when matched with the proper spring rate. So running 2.0t shocks/struts on 3.2 springs is actually incorrect.

For the price difference of a few tanks of gas, I don’t think the price different is worth the risk.

Actually Koni FSD's are universal between all A4 Models (B6/B7). There is no "matched" shock/struts between 1.8T, 3.0, 2.0T, and 3.2 Motors:

They all use the same Koni FSD struts/shocks, so OP should be fine with the Koni FSDs at least.

Thanks,

That’s fair. In that case it will probably ride a little higher, closer to stock suspension, and ride a little firmer. It may have an unwanted reverse rake depending on if there are any differences in the rear springs
