IMPORTANT: hold the manifold flaps open when you put the manifolds back on!

I must have read every thread about replacing the PCV and most things involving having the supercharger removed from carbon cleaning to injector replacements so I was surprised to discover a fairly undocumented horror regarding those manifold flaps.

IMPORTANT: hold the manifold flaps open when you put the manifolds back on.

Please, if you have a 'how to' guide on these forums that covers anything involving removing the manifolds please include that info. P2006 and P2007 codes lead to a couple hours of supercharger removal and replacement I definitely could have avoided.

You can also fix this problem with a VAG COM cable and not have to take it all apart again. Another user did it by hand on the actuator themselves I believe.
