Hi all,
I'm having an issue in my B7 where my climate control temperatures seem to be higher than displayed? Every day when I drive the car, I keep the temperature synced on both the drivers/passenger side at around 63-65 degrees with ECON mode turned on. This setting is most comfortable for me, as it's not really cold, but also not really warm. (Lately it's been about 50-55 degrees outside) Today I got in the car and noticed that the temperature now seems to be much higher even though it is set at 63. (It's the same on both sides) Turning it up will make it hotter, and putting it back to around 63 will make it slightly cooler, but still a lot warmer than it was before. Turning off ECON makes no difference. The strange thing is that if I turn it to LO, even with ECON on, It gets really cold, but as soon as I turn it up one degree to 60, it gets quite warm.
If anyone could help me out on this I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

It’s all to do with relative temperature between the inside and outside, not the absolute temperature of the air. UNLESS it is on HI or LO when it just gives as hot as it can or as cold as it can.
