I've had my 2016 A7 TDI for about a year and a half now and pretty much love the car, but for a few things...
I just cannot stand the fake exhaust tips in the rear bumper. I believe I have diligently searched the forums for any info on replacing these with a valance and real deal exhaust tips like they used to have, but haven't been able to come up with the right combination of search terms, or else no one else has taken a shot at this.
Does anyone know if this can be done fairly easily?
I know someone did it on their C7.5 A6. They removed the faux tip on the valance and installed one of these tips to their mufflers. So it can be done.

Or AWE sells and exhaust system for C7.5 with dual tips using the current valance. Have to check for A7. I know they have it for A6 3.0T cuz I thought about it, but didn't do it.

I'm planning on replacing my rear diffuser/tips with S6-style versions. I'm like you, not a big fan of the faux tips and tame diffuser that came with my car. This is what I plan on going with:

Looks like they have it for your A7 too. Have to make sure those tips can clamp onto your muffler outlet. Assuming you have S-line rear bumper. If you don't, they make one for non Sline. On my A6, the outlets were sorta smashed, not round. May have to have exhaust shop install the tips.

Thanks guys! the ebay seller has what I'm looking for, mine has the s-line bumpers. I'll also check out what AWE has.

Did you guys manage to remove your exhaust tips. Any hints. I've removed the diffiser and managed to remove one of the bolts holding the exhaust tip on, but can't get to the other one. Is it a bumper ( fender ) off jobbie?

You should be able to remove both bolts once the diffuser is off. One of the two is a pain in the ass to get to, but’s it doable.

Thx. I'll give it another go, I must have fat fingers.
