Drill into the cold side of the intercooler and mount it there. The CTS FMIC has a ton of meat to work with.

I was going to go 3 inches from the outlet on the intercooler cold side.. but its on the rubber hose instead of the alum tubing. Does it matter?

You can get an bung insert for the silicone coupler, but they’ve been known to fail. You’re always best tapping and welding into aluminum.

Just mount it a couple inches from the throttle body and you’ll be fine. You could mount it post throttle body with that adapter plate IE sells and it would probably be fine too.
I doubt you’ll see a lick of difference if it’s like 2 inches away VS 3 etc. Mount it on the aluminum pipe using a welded on bung wherever that bung location is the most convenient to install. It will mix and run fine wherever you put it as long as it’s before the intake temp sensor after the intercooler.

is it ok to shoot it on the TB?
Since my intercoolers are always oily, it might not thatttt dramatic after all ? turbo journal bearing is pouring.
Because since I'm stage 2 k03, I thought about a simple on/off kit, on the windshield washer tank, jet on the intercooler or intake pipe.
This one is really cheap : https://www.bosphorusinnovations.com/product-category/water-methanol-injection-kits/

I am running 2 nozzles one at TB and one right after the intercooler. So I should be good. Running my tank in the wheelwell in back hidden. Will have a opening in the cover of wheel well and extend the neck. So just pop the trunk and fill.
