Going to be changing my oil on my 2016 Audi S6 C7.5 and couldnt seem to find the torque specs for the drain plug anywhere. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Most aluminum plans are between 23-25ft/lbs. What I would do, sharpie the bolt and pan so you have an idea of the original spot. From there, drain as usual and use a new crush washer. Then torque to 23-25ft/lbs and you should be very close to the original sharpie mark. I know dealerships do this with oil canister style filters.

Which SM?

Mine says 20Nm = 15 ft-lbs. in both the maintenance section and the Engine repair overview diagram.
Also the Amsoil website has pretty good references for drain plug torques and confirms 15 ft-lbs.

Good info.
I know it is splitting hairs and largely irrelevant, but where do you get the drain plug torque values? I still see 20Nm for 4.0T and 30Nm for 3.0T in the maintenance and engine repair manuals.

Ok, I double checked the drain plug torque on the 4.0T:

Oil Drain Plug Torque value is 20 NM (14.75 Ft-Lbs) for 4.0 TFSI
