So when I purchased my s4 it had a very rough idle to a point where I had to turn the car off when double parked because it was that rough. Now though it’s getting rough during my drive too not too much vibration in my steering wheel. Any idea what it could be, could it have to do with Timing chain tensioner because that has been getting loud as well

Going to need more info than that. Any codes showing and what are they? Did it just start doing it or has it been gradually getting worse. Any mods to the car? Any recent maintenance performed?

Could be timing issues, but that would have to be pretty bad and would have likely resulted in damage that would be more than just roughness. What are you hearing and where on the engine makes you think timing noise?

Could be something like a bad motor mount, sensor, etc.

Video of the issue? Year, mileage?

And, there could be a lot of carbon build up in your intake.

Have not checked for codes but it just recently started feeling it. The drive consist of lots of vibration in the whole car. Mods are stage 1 tune exhaust and intake but what are the chances that it could be motor mounts? That’s what I thought it was when I just had the rough idle.

My money's on motor mounts.

Need more info. How long has this been happening? I would say motor mounts, but I don't know your timeframe. I had similar issues with some bad fuel/gas. So, please elaborate.
