Finish the flush car now drive fine. But when I get on it from first thru second it looses power then shift really hard into second feels like the trans is slipping. Is it positive that trans fluid is low or did I just ruined my trans , car has 75k on it with stage 1 integrated engineering tune , also installed test pipes that’s why I didn’t trans service, since I was already there , any input will be gladly appreciate thanks you .

Did you check the fluid level? How much diff you put in there? That’s definitely the #1 thing to check

I didn’t check just filled until it started to leak out after it was warm , and I put in about 6 Quarts , I didn’t measured what I took out honestly, how can I check the level ?

What fluid did you use? I’m not sure how to check I had a shop do mine but 6 sounds about right. I gave them 9 and they gave me back 3 and said 9 is only if you completely drain the TC too. Mine has been running smooth ever since so I didn’t question it

I used a kit from Ecs tunning , https://www.ecstuning.com/b-assembled-by-ecs-parts/8-speed-automatic-transmission-service-kit/0bk398009kt2/ but I honestly need to check the fluid level , car shifts fine when driving normal but when you floor it , it start just doesn’t shift properly into second , that as far as I took it because I got scared I’ll do any damage , don’t know if it does it in other gears , but when just cruising around it shift no problem.

I used the ZF lifetime fluid. That’s what I read was supposed to be used. I’m not sure about yours. I’m sure that works too. From the sounds of it I think it’s unlikely you screwed up your trans. But id say double check if that fluid works. And if you can try to scan the TCU and log temps etc. I use VCMscanner you need a cable for it, might be inconvenient having to buy that though but that’s what i’d Do.

You have to let it warm up. Then after it’s warm. While the ENGINE is running open the fills crew and fill untill it comes out. While it’s running after you shifted through all the gears. Then reset adaptations.

What’s the temp I have to let it warm up too ? So I can check with oboeleven or can you point me to the correct procedure
