Does anyone know what the tq rating is on the sport diff and the rear axles? Has anyone blown any up from launching? I can't find ANY information on the web.

I know 2 6MT owners have blown the diff, but I think it was mostly from wheel hop.

Definitely interested in this topic. I’m trying to keep this car around long term, looks like single pulley is the save zone for cats and other components.

It’s driveline shock that breaks the driveline components, not increased power. You could take a stock power S4 and throw an aggressive clutch in it and break stuff just as easily with hard launches and shifts on a drag strip.

That’s a very good point. It’ll be good to hear the power and clutch combo that had the failures. I installed a clutch that’s just able to handle single pulley power. I’m definitely not going to abuse the drivetrain.
