Hey! I’m looking at taking on a slight project and wrapping my car red. I want to do it well so I’m curious is there anyway to remove the exterior door handle without having to take off the interior door card. As well, how do I remove the roof trim the rain drip strip. Thanks!

To take off the door handle the tool to use is a very thin flat head screwdriver. Lift the handle about half way so there is an opening between the top of the handle and exterior of door. Looking inside that opening you will see some metal clip Slide this metal clip towards the front of the car, handle falls off. (Reinstall by sliding the metal towards back of car.)

Make sure ypu have a piece of tape or a cloth as protection against scratches! Will post a picture later this week when I have access to my home computer again

Roof trim can be removed by prying under one end and slowly pulling it up out of the rubber seal. You'll need to be gentle to avoid bending it. Note the orientation. After the metal strip is out, the rubber seal will pull out easily.
To reinstall, push the metal strip into the rubber seal completely, then push both pieces into the groove on the roof.
