A6 2.0T intercooler [Archive]

Anyone upgrade their intercooler to a bigger front mount (FMIC) on the 2.0tfsi? If so how was fitment and was it custom or made to fit?

Which version of the 2.0T do you have? If you have the older gen 2 motor (pre-2017) then you can take advantage of all the options we do over on the B8 A4 side. For stock turbo though, many simply upgrade to the stock intercooler from the 3.0TDI models, it's a direct swap and larger capacity than the stock unit. Also they can be had for pretty cheap as well.

My bad I meant pre-2016, the 252hp engine is the gen 3. The option I suggested won't work with that.

I would check out what the B9 A4 guys are running (they have the same motor) to see what potential options you may have. It sounds like the XLR8 guys can assist with that too.
