So long story short bought my s4 with 25k on the clock, used chipwerke for around 15k miles with no issues holding boost fine i was running cts upper, intake, exhaust and e85 mix. 2-3 months ago i switched to IE single pulley Stage 2 only using 93 and my car started opening the by pass valve everytime the throttle pedal is touched or pressed. I was like whatever maybe its suppose to do it. Couple weeks back i switched to dual pulley, and now its bleeding off the pressure even louder, and is throwing me a p133500 code on very hard or mild throttle in when doing pulls in 2-4th gears. The by pass valve opens for a second and the car pulls like a train no hesitation nothing. I’ve emailed them and they told me its leaking boost somewhere. I’ve tested the system with smoke and found no visible leaks, changed the main MAP/IAT sensor with no change. So the question, is there a specific sensor that tells the by-pass to open up? Because its very annoying when you are trying to pass someone and car goes into limp. Thanks in advance.
Would a bad by-pass valve show a bad position to the ecu causing it to open up for a second when ok throttle?
