Stock plugs PFR8S8E works pretty well with 57/196 and 1.43 bar boost. APR recommend to use BKR9EIX at pr higher than 3.25. Any thoughts about it?

Was reading this the other day since I wanted to change my plugs out. Everyone is saying to rock the stock 8's BKR8EIX since that is what Audi uses (think this is for face lift models and beyond). But some are saying running one step colder the 9's BKR9EIX. But there is debate on that as it was not needed etc. Im un tuned so I am going to get the stock 8's and call it a day

I went to the BKR9 since that's what Unitronic recommended. Personally didn't notice a difference jumping to them from the stock plugs, lol.

IE recommended BKR9EIX at .026" gap for my Stage 2 dual pulley setup, that's what I went with but kinda like he said above ^ didn't notice a significant difference from stock plugs lol

I use this setup. I am dual pulley stage 2. This is straight from Unitronic.

Any benefit of this over the DR12YS recommend on Brisk's website?

Only difference is that YS have a projected tip. I'd probably start with the YS and if you're getting detonation switch to S.
If your cylinder temp is relatively cool (high E content, meth, low PR) then YS may be optimal.
