Where can you find torque specs?... Every time I need them it's a search adventure. Thanks

It's the Oil pan itself....15 bolts. I'm getting 7nm, 9nm, 10nm & 14nm?? Not sure which one or if any are correct.

My apologies....I misread the original post.
I don't have the TDI info specifically, but the 3.0T gas & the 4.0T gas are both:
1 - Tighten by hand.
2 - 8 Nm (tightened in diagonal sequence)
3 - Additional 90º (also diagonally).
I'd be surprised if the TDI was any different since it is just holding the pan evenly against the sealant

Hope that helps and doesn't just add to the confusion.

My apologies too...LOL, it does add to the confusion, now I have 5 and the last I was told was 45 degrees or 1/8 turn. Why are these specs so hard to find? Thanks for the reply.

Sorry. They would be in the erwin for the 3.0TDI since I don't have a TDI I didn't get it, but you can get it yourself.

45 degrees would be an odd one from most of my readings 90º, 180º and one time 360º on a big friggin' bolt is what I've mostly see.
Since the oil pan is hopefully (fingers crossed) rarely removed is why the specs are hard to find. Out of curiosity why did you remove yours?

Thanks, when I search that site I don't see any service or repair links. Yesterday when I tried a similar site and entered USA, it said country not supported. Do you know where on that site is service info? Wife hits stuff in the road that is not there.....

WHAT???!!!!
That is straight up bizarre...Does it really say Step 1 is 2Nm and Step 2 is 3Nm????!!!!! I have honestly have never seen that type of instruction across any make before. 1Nm could be margin of error on some torque wrenches...
Hopefully you have a good one. :)
Good luck.
