Bought OBDEleven - Windows Roll Up Question

I had a local friend with a VAGS cable we enabled windows roll up (factory allows auto roll down). It didn't work. I bought an OBDEleven and before I burn credits to enable the auto roll up it shows the setting is "enabled" which makes sense given he enabled it via VAGS.

End of the day, it does not roll windows up. Am I missing something? I've rebooted the MMI. Factory it will auto roll down but not auto roll up. I cannot get it to auto roll up even with VAGS.

Car is a 2018 Audi RS7 Performance.

Are you talking about using the key fob to do it or from the window switch inside the car?

I enabled all mine via Carista, no credits needed, worked the first time around.

Try initiating sequence by hitting lock button twice and holding down on lock button on second hit. I used VCDS on my ‘16 with master list of Vagcom options. Hope this helps.

Key fob. If I exit car and forget to close a window this feature is what I'd be using it for.

Go into MMI setting. You have to tick the box to say you want the windows to go up and down via the key fob. You can also open/close the sunroof if you have one.

I believe it may have been the below;

Enable window closing with remote (opening is already an option in MMI)
46 - Cent. Conv.
Adaptation - 10
Channel 62
Change value from 8738 to 48059
Test

Make a note of your default values before doing anything just in case I remembered incorrectly lol

Looks like "Operating Windows and Sunroof with Remote" was successfully coded, so no need to disable and enable. Now you just need to change the settings in "Central Convenience" pasted above and voila!

Thank you! Just wanted to update the thread that this worked. I had a local friend do it via VAGS just because I didn't want to mess something up and he's been messing with VAGS for a while. Would this have been do'able on the OBDEleven? I'm assuming yes but didn't want to take any chances.

Also, how did you find the information for the fix? I'd like to research some things that can be done via coding that I haven't done already. Thanks!

Definitely doable with OBDEleven as I used my friend's.

I refused to believe it wasn't doable so did a lot of reading around different forums lol.
