I installed the 2 channel cameras last week on my S7.
Does anybody bother with the live stream capabilities?
How do you set alerts in park mode?
I was also told that pre 2015 models don’t allow for direct WiFi hookup??

What model did you buy? Livestream will need a pretty solid wifi connection. Maybe like from your phone? I highly recommend changing out the SD card to something a
Meant for streaming video. I had large chunks of footage missing when I used to review my old card. Also, format the card monthly.

For parking mode to work it has to be hard wired. Refer to link above.
I have the same camera and have not been happy with it cause of missed footage. I think I have resolved it by going with a different SD card but I'm not yet sure.

They say this cam is pretty finicky on sd cards. If you are not using the Blackvue card, the alternative is the Samsung Endurance Pro. Also, do reformat monthly.

So far reducing the resolution helped. I have already switched to the Sammy Endurance Pro card but have not yet reviewed any footage since to see if this is a better experience.

Mine is hard wired into the Magic battery. But I don’t see it recording in parking mode.

Have you gone into the settings to turn on parking mode recording? I don't think it is on by default.

I’ll check that out today. I’ve scoured the app but didn’t see that option of turning it on.

all options for setting parking recording, etc is in the app. it should be there
to live stream you have to be close enough to wifi into the blackvue itself.

I also have the BlackVue 750 2 channel installed.
I power it via the Magic Pro so I also have parking mode set up.
I connect to it via a battery powered WiFi hotspot (charges when the car runs) which allows me to use the cloud feature on my mobile app, to remotely view front and rear cams when it’s parked up. Pretty cool feature!
If you connect it to your mmi WiFi, it will only be connected while the car is running, hence using a personal hotspot.
The power connection, including the Magic Pro box is tucked into the headlining, behind the overhead light console.
It is definitely particular about which memory card to use, currently running a Lexar Card with no issues.
Which batt wifi hotspot did you get?

I’m in UK, it’s last years model, works fine, charges off one of the USB ports.

Thank you sir. After spending an hour with blackvue customer support trying to figure out why I couldn’t connect to the cloud, it was all due to my home WiFi modem/Router being 5 MGh. It only likes 2.4...
It’s up and running finally.
