For my B8.5 S5, I bought some stupid Audi (knock-off) tire valve stem caps. Transferred them to my S6....love them. Totally stupid though.

I bought two of these leather key-fob protectors for $8 each. I ditched the strap that came with it and connected it to my keychain as shown below, which enables me to easily remove the key and hand the fob to a valet.

They do not, they're about deep as the door handle itself, I use it to hold change and its easy enough to lift out and dump into my hands when needed. I bought mine on eBay.

Bought some quattro puddle light projectors, but ended up installing them on the allroad instead.
Bought a bunch of 12v USB chargers to install into the 5 charge ports in the car (2x front, 2x rear, 1x trunk)

I have the same one. I have a Note9 which is somewhat heavy. I put the metal sticker on my phone inside the case. The phone will rotate when mounted. If you have a heavy phone, I suggest sticking the sticker to the outside of your case, it will hold more steadily.

Popped the old button out, put the new one in, coded with VCDS, and a few minutes later I no longer had to leave my foot on the brake pedal at stoplights. Why Audi deletes this feature on NA cars is near the top of the list for idiotic decisions they’ve made.

My 2018 RS7 and 2017 R8 appear to be roughly same key...will these work with them? I constantly get the keys mixed up as they look identical sans "RS" or "R8" written on back. This would make it easier to point out which key is which.

2017 r8 should be difference than the 2018 rs7. 2018 rs7 is an old gen and i believe uses the old gen key, whereas the 2017 r8 is the 2nd gen with the newer designed keys

Unless they revisited just the keys for the later years for the 7

I have this same item. Hopefully someone can give some insight on what they have done in a similar situation. My phone/case is too heavy to stay mounted without the magnet. If I put the magnet in the case then my wireless charging does not work because the magnet block the case. I tried placing the magnet at the bottom of the case, but then the phone falls off shortly.

I'm using this Scosche Magic Mount Pro Charge with ProClip adapter (https://www.proclipusa.com/product/magicmount-charge-with-proclip-adapter). It's got wireless charging using 2 magnets (top and bottom) which is much better than a single magnet where the phone can pivot and eventually fall off. Not to mention it's easier to line up the charging coil. I put the magnets on the outside surface of the case and everything works fine.

Only thing is, it's a fair bit more expensive $80 vs $20 but so far it is the best solution I've found for QI wireless + magnetic mount. Can't go back to a mount that only has a magnet in one spot.

No point putting money into R&D on such a vehicle with such small sales.

Seriously? We survived cars with only 2 brake lights and clutch pedals where most drivers didn’t have their foot on the brake at all once stopped but now it’s too dangerous? I’m sure it’s nothing more than simple coding if Audi NA has that big of a stick up their ass to not include something that’s been standard on MB and BMW for almost a decade.

Silly stuff, but I like the previous gen key better than the current. Drove a loaner a week or so ago, and the newer key felt plasticy and cheap to me. I enjoy the weightiness of my key better.

BlendMount and MirrorTap for my Uniden R7. In all fairness, I had the BlendMount in my S4 so it wasn't really a purchase for the S7. I hate sticking an RD to the windshield or visor. Pricey, but so much better than the super cheap version. I like it so much I sprang for one when the wife got a Q7.

Also, be careful on those ebay valvestem covers. I had some on my S4 and one got stuck, rendering the valvestem completely useless. Either use anti-seize or find a different valvestem cover.

Do you have the driver assistance camera in the mirror? I am considering a blend mount as well but wasn't sure if my mirror was too bulky.

This way you can remove it when you want to as well.

Emergency warning triangle and reflective vest - since '19 TTRS here in the US doesn't come with either. Not sure what these are made of, but please take care not to install metal valve stem caps. Years ago I learned the hard way that metal caps react with the valve stem itself and corrode, resulting in a bonded cap that won't come off easily. I had to Dremel off mine and ended up having to replace two (2) of four (4) valve stems in the process.

Yeah, that's good 'ol galvanic corrosion. For these to not corrode, they need to be made out of a material close to the valve stem's material on the galvanic series (https://www.corrosionsource.com/UploadedImages/galvanicseries.gif). For this reason, Audi makes their own valve stem caps and has different versions for aluminum vs metal/rubber valve stems

The ROW brake auto hold button was the best $20 I’ve spent. Popped the old button out, put the new one in, coded with VCDS, and a few minutes later I no longer had to leave my foot on the brake pedal at stoplights. Why Audi deletes this feature on NA cars is near the top of the list for idiotic decisions they’ve made.

This is the most bang-for-your-buck mod I've ever done on a car.

If your talking about auto hold I activated that in my A6 and the brake lights turn off. But I turned on euro parking lights so at least the lights are still on just not as bright. Talk to us about this Euro parking lights. What is it?

I also need those for pockets and have had the S-Line steering wheel sticker in my Amazon cart for months lol.

As for my cheap ads:
Carbon fiber shifter cover/cap
Carbon fiber silicone key cover.
S-Line tube like things for between the front seats and center console so things don't fall between. Was unsure on them, but love them now that I have them.
A glasses compartment the replaces the driver grab handle since the factory location is useless. Haven't got around to installing this one yet though.

I think that's all of them so far.

This phone holder made specific for C7. For $20, the fit is excellent and it doesn't interfere with the screen movement. I used to have a universal that clipped into the vent and always needed to make sure I pulled the phone off before shutting the car down which became a minor annoyance.

I looked at them a while ago. It seemed like they probably stop light rash, like if you stop as soon as you notice you are on the curb while moving slow. I felt the overall look and the fastening process didn't appeal to me. IMO they stick out pretty far from the rim (see pic) and use steel clips and glued on cap for the space between the ends. But for all I know they may work exceptionally well.

Well I ordered some stuff I saw you guys post. I don't know if I ordered the same brands though so here is the links and pictures of them installed.

The sunglasses holder I'm extremely impressed with the plastic is soft and high quality

The arm rest cushion also feels of quality.

The door latch protector seems okay we will see.

The door handle compartments are iffy passenger side seemed to fit better and stick drivers side is already not sticking and it's been an hr.

Thanks for the post. I need to get these. A few weeks ago I was using the plastic one that came with the car and my wheel was stuck on so I pulled on it really hard and it came off and snapped off the plastic wheel holder thing inside the threads. I had to carefully drill it out. Yes, I do think I messed up some of my threads. The lug did go back in but it was not smooth at all. It gets really tight way too soon. So, these will help prevent that in the future.

I was in the same boat. This fits, only thing you need to do is swap the plastic frame which clicks into the center console, as the newer gearknob has a wider one than the original one.

To scared to change the shift knob so I got a cover. It fits really well and looks quite nice. Also got a red trim ring for the start-stop button. Looks nice but the ring sits proud of the surface. Wish it was flush.

I got the same shift cover and really like it! Ties in well with the rest of the carbon trim, so kind of looks factory. I also got a red carbon fiber start/stop button which really looks cool and everyone always ask about it haha. Fitment is a little off, but I think I would be the only one that could tell
