A friend of mine brought over his 2015 C7 with the 2.0T motor so I could help him install the K&N Typhoon intake system.

This is a real easy job for anyone who knows their way around basic tools.

The kit is made for the B8 A4 as well as the C7 A6/A7, but it is mainly made for the A4 in terms of fitment. The heat shield brackets are made to connect to parts of the A4 that aren't available in the C7, and the metal ram air duct that comes with the kit doesn't fit on the C7 at all. But other than that the kit fits pretty solid in the car.

Tools & Materials List:

-Flathead screwdriver
-Assorted metric socket sizes + Socket Wrenches
-Torx bit/driver (Maybe T25? I didn't take note of the size)
-Scissors
-Gloves

Noteworthy Information:

-You won't be using the two mounting holes on top of the heat shield (They are for the metal ram air duct), so don't feel bad about bending the tab on the left out of the way to clip the MAF sensor wiring harness to it there.

-My friends car is Apr stage 1, and you can hear the intake really well... Especially when you are accelerating under full boost and let off the gas. You get the nice "blow off" sound.

Updates:

-Reserved

To those of you that are already subscribed to the channel, thank you so much! My first video just passed 20K views in just 7 months. That's crazy to me. You can also follow my C7 Instagram page @AudiC7Owners if you don't already. As always, let me know if you see anything in the video that needs to be addressed.

Oh trust me, I know 100% that the oem intake is the most efficient intake.

But this isn't my car, it's a friend's. But even so, I have a nice Injen hot air intake on my car because I wanted to hear my supercharger.

I'm ok with it lol. But I do plan on modifying my oem airbox to help with the hot air.
