I replaced my grille without pulling off the front bumper, but I don't have night vision front camera and all that jazz. The top corner screws are a pain to unscrew, the rest are easy. I just pulled off my front bumper, in the process of installing the JHM lines. I could post a Pic of the inside of the bumper for the grille screw locations if that would help.

What are you swapping to? Seems like there are plenty stock to RS black grill videos around. I don’t imagine the swap is a fun job from what I have seen.

There is a C7 S6 video on YouTube and this guide which has a A7 and other diff models within the thread:

I just did my 2016 S6 and it would be similar. Used the same instruction I attached but essentially remove all the Torq screws on the top and bottom, 3 - 10mm bolts on the inside of the wheel fender and pull the bumper off.

Here are the instructions you need. This is for an OEM RS grille, if i remember correctly. So if you’re going with an eBay grille you don’t need to worry about the cutting and dremeling, etc. just take off, unscrew, pulls tabs, and reverse for new grille.

I did my 2016 S7 with a Stonecarbon RS grille in 60 min. Couldn’t be easier.

I’m very interested in how you changed your grill without removing the bumper.

I think DoItAllGarage is more drunk than me. Says, didn't pull the bumper, but it was so easy to do after he pulled the bumper off, haha

Haha, I did remove the grille without pulling off the front bumper. At the time of my last post I was in the middle of installing the JHM lines. Since, I had the front bumper pulled I didn't mind taking a few pics of what it looks like from the inside of the bumper. Finally, yes I did have a few cold ones while taking my break [emoji16]
