This is a picture of the cryo process for the Febuary clutch sale.
It took 30 hours to drop the temp to -300 degree F, and then up to 600 degree F for tempering.

The usual cost is $50 for the Pressure Plate and $75 for the flywheels.

The sale was a big success [up]

I just got mine installed. I am amazed at how easy the pedal is for a STAGE 4 clutch! The pedal feel is almost stock....

My buddy owns a cryogenic treatment plant in northern califorina and has done everything from my axles to my air lockers (for the scout) I would recommend this to anyone who wants to almost stop the wear process and add a little strenght.

My question is what about my turbo? He has done heads and bottom ends but will a turbo last longer and hold up to compressor surge better????

i think all metals benefit from cryo freezing. so it would definitely make it stronger. if its a ball bearing or bushing turbo might make a difference though, im not sure soft metals would do well to be strengthened.

this process wouldn't be complete without the run to high temperatures to strengthen the stress yielding of the material, right?

in other words, just cooling it down to those sub-zero temps alone would not strengthen the materials as much, correct?
