I have the dilemma on the front end treatment on my (new to me) S6. Do i wrap the lower valence in a matching satin (35% ish) or let the AE 2016 Nardo stay visible??
terrible PS attached!

I’d definitely leave it grey

exactly my dilemma. does it, being grey, chin-strap the bumper more than it black noses the front?

Fact!
Blacking it out also breaks up the line of the car. Creates an odd focal point IMO that draws the eye to figure out what’s off.

I'd stay stock, just my opinion.

I tried wrapping mine, but couldn't get it separated from the bumper so I gave up. It seemed easy enough, pop a few tabs and slide it off, but nope...it wouldn't budge. So yes, leave it. As said above, path of least resistance...

in looking further at the architecture, a lower spoiler lip would make sense to pull up and fill in the middle. without that, i cant unsee the absence of a supporting lip which would never work for me....

I can ask the design guys at work. That's a 100% car inspired group with some really cool rides. So you're saying black out and add a spoiler?

If you look at pics of RS6s they have the middle lip as black. That's how their factory grill is, and I love the look. I got some feedback from another thread on how to remove just the front lip. Have't tried it yet. Another route would be to plasti dip the lip. I also have a MD front splitter on order so I'm going to have to do it at some point anyway with the splitter.
I did this on my '13 and had to remove the plastic cover on the bottom of the vehicle to access the screws that hold the lip in place. After all removed it just slid off as a separate piece. Not sure if yours will be the same but I would start there if you can reach it.
Confirmed on the rs7 also. Drop the belly pan, then drop the 2nd pan under the radiator. One you drop both pans you can sneak under/behind the front lip and see the bolts that need to be removed. Each of the rs7 lip vertical fins also has a screw in each that needs to be removed. Then the lip slides off without removing the number.

We can't see your pics Prime.
I just plasti dipped mine to see what it would look like. Car is filthy :(. I think it needs the black rings, black mirrors, and perhaps a front splitter to complete the look.

By itself I think it looks better with the body color. I think the car needs a few more black accents to complete the look. I'm going to install the black rings, and leave it for a few days to see if it grows on me. The white mirrors drive me crazy so I'm going to do something there as well.
I say black it out! Like the RS7.

Black badges and black mirrors were a must to complete the black optics look. It should have been that way from the factory. I want to black out the trunk spoiler too but I'm still undecided if I want to do it to the factory spoiler or try something aftermarket.

Opinions being opinions, mine is that blacked out makes it look like something is missing from the bumper, and makes the corner scoops look a bit too flappy/catfish-like. Easy enough to figure out what you like with wrap though :)
