Misfiring after pcv valve on 3.0

Hi all, I am having my pcv valve, hose, water pump, and carbon cleaning done on my car. The shop I brought it to has said that it's misfiring after all this work. Is this common or are they trying to bend me over? Any help is welcome. The shop is highly recommended in my area.

so your care wasn't misfiring, they worked on it to do preventative maintenance, and now it is misfiring?

if it wasn't misfiring before you brought it in, its obviously work they did that is causing the problem. have them fix it, on their dime.

They figured it out, a coil pack wasn't seated all the way.[rolleyes]
